Regardless of small teething problems I have very much enjoyed working with YMSLI. The team is always willing to help and is positive & cheerful, even in difficult circumstances. The final result is, in my opinion, a very pleasing, well coded, well structured, Object Oriented system that both YMSLI and their parent YMSL should be very proud of. You have a very good team from the developers, testers, project managers up to the top level management. Their effort, drive, commitment and attitude are a credit to them and also to the Yamaha organization as a whole.

Finally, as an experienced, grey haired, old developer, I know how much work goes on behind the scenes of projects like. I would like to pass on my personal thanks to everyone at both YMSLI and YMSL for all the hard work.

I have worked with YMSLI Team for 18 month since I joined YMSL in April 2007. They are young, positive and open to learning & new experiences. This is same as my impression for India itself; young, diverse, growing, full of future hope and open to everything. But to be honest, YMSLI guys are bright and open to learning but artifacts were sometimes not very satisfying. It seemed strange, but I found a reason; we did not share our goal.

I decided to invite 3 YMSLI members to Japan in Feb for 2 months. It has brought in them dramatic change. They could understand what we Japanese guys expect and our sense of value. Overall, it was my pleasure to work with YMSLI and I am looking forward to working together again soon.

I have visited YMSLI three times to support YMPULSE project and every time I have absolutely enjoyed staying in India due to the warm welcome received from everyone. At times, YMSLI members had difficulties during the project because YNA standard of development process and new framework architecture are very new to them. But I believe we could understand each other and YMPULSE project member improved their skills and experiments when we got over difficulties together.

Now YMPULSE project is the final stage and is almost finishing successfully. Next step of YMSLI is the collaboration with YMSLI, YMSLX and YMSL. I believe we can make a good collaboration!!! Thank you for your hard and faithful work!

Yamaha (YMSLI) was invited into the 2degrees project very late in the game to help us resolve issues that occurred earlier in the project from work done by another supplier, no longer involved. In the relatively short time that Yamaha (YMSLI) has been involved, 2degrees has had excellent support from the Yamaha team both on the ground and back at their HQ product support team.

I have come to more completely understand that Yamaha (YMSLI) has been an extremely valuable partner in sorting out the solutions. The whole Yamaha team has put in extraordinary hours with incredible commitment and extraordinary skill through the launch and after.
