PT. Yamaha Parts Manufacturing Indonesia (YPMI) is one of the biggest automotive parts manufacturers company, located in Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta.

After thorough evaluation of various ERP solutions available, YPMI chose to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The aim was to get the relevant information in the shortest possible time, develop an integrated solution to minimize inputs in terms of man hours and maximize output in terms of business strategy and revenue.

Pre-Implementation scenario

YPMI had different legacy systems for various functions like Fixed Asset Acquisition, Disposal & HR system for maintaining employee's expense and E-Procurement System for handling Invoices and hence, there arose an anxious need for integrating all of them together.

Post-Implementation phase

After the prototype demonstration and go-ahead by YPMI, Navision Team visited the site, installed & implemented the system. YPMI had looked towards Microsoft Dynamics NAV to seamlessly integrate and manage business processes between Microsoft Dynamics NAV Applications and other applications. The same was achieved and the system successfully went live in January 2008.

Benefits to YPMI

After Microsoft Dynamics NAV was deployed in YPMI, all financial details started being maintained in the system in a synchronized manner and all systems are now interfaced together.

There is proactive monitoring of critical instances from offshore. Team at onsite continuously coordinates with offsite team and there is required interface with different software based on SQL and Lotus domino.
